As our nationwide growth accelerates, our Public Relations team at our Corporate HQ in Mechanicsburg, PA plays a key role in driving forward our mission of Bringing Happiness to Every Home® by delivering critical messaging internally and externally and building strong relationships with the communities we serve.
As a Community and Public Relations Specialist at West Shore Home®, you will contribute to this mission by serving as the key liaison between our local branches and the community organizations nationwide. You will report directly to the Director of Public Relations and work closely with our Communications team and leadership at our local branches.
What You’ll Contribute
In this role, you can expect to:
- Identify, develop, and assist in implementing community outreach opportunities that are in line with our brand, values, and mission
- Deliver effective messaging regarding community and employee engagement plans to inspire participation
- Represent the company by attending community events, sometimes outside of normal work hours
- Build relationships with local media organizations and trade industry publications, and monitor the news for each company branch
What It Takes to Succeed
