As our nationwide growth accelerates, our Legal team at our Corporate HQ in Mechanicsburg, PA plays a key role in driving forward our mission of Bringing Happiness to Every Home® by ensuring the company adheres to external rules and internal controls while meeting business goals.
As a Staff Internal Auditor at West Shore Home®, you will contribute to this mission by overseeing and administering audits by performing tests of design and operating effectiveness across the company. You will report directly to the Director of Internal Audit and work closely with our audit staff and legal department.
What You’ll Contribute
In this role, you can expect to:
- Evaluate financial documents for accuracy and compliance
- Identify risks to the organization and offer recommendations to reduce risk
- Improve accounting and financial record-keeping processes
- Coordinate with branch and corporate management to understand their current processes, and perform tests of design and operating effectiveness
- Identify risks and assist business process owners in the development of new controls to address the risks
- Provide support for external audits as necessary

- Several years of experience working in Auditing, Risk Management, Compliance Management, Accounting
- Sarbanes-Oxley experience is a plus
