KEY ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Integration Specialists will collaborate with cross-functional team members/system owners to accomplish required tasks and provide progress updates to the Director of Integration. It is our job to maintain an understanding of all company technology to improve, update, and train. Integration specialists assist in the execution of acquisitions by overseeing the onsite and preparation teams to execute detailed plan for the integration including the training, roll-out and sustain of the acquisition or greenfield location as outlined by the Director of Integration. They ensure that the team follows the acquisition plan according to the company’s initiative as assigned. For the execution of the acquisition announcement, the integration specialist coordinates travel arrangements and event spaces for acquisitions and any pre-acquisition meetings, works with agents of the acquired company to execute the acquisition/integration plan, and assists in coordination of the build out of all company systems for acquisition and integration of new employees as assigned. Following the completion of the integration week, the integration specialist assists in After-Action Reports and submits to Director of Integration to review. Integration specialists assist in development of Greenfield plans to stand up new offices, works closely with Director of Integration on warehouse and office planning, assists ordering/inventory departments in planning for inventory/stock ordering and deliveries, and assists fleet management in truck orders and projections for quarterly and yearly needs. They will also oversee specific projects as outlined by the Director of Integration or executive team.

An Integration Specialist is accountable to make each office we work with successful. We must own everything in our world to ensure we are putting the pieces in place for that location to win. Extreme Ownership allows us to control our own destiny and create a situation where all our new offices can thrive. The Integration team is representing WSH to new employees and new markets. There is never a scenario in which we do not put our best foot forward. We will Be Great in whatever we do. We do not settle for mediocrity. Although we will do whatever we can to set up our branches for success and give our teammates a great experience with us, there is always room to improve and Get Better. An Integration Specialist does extensive after-action reviews and reflects on how we can improve our internal customers’ experience. An Integration Specialist should be the ultimate Exceptional Teammate. Our sole job is to set other departments up for success by supporting acquisitions and Greenfields and making them a successful WSH branch. We will do whatever we can do to support the new location and company. We will never be satisfied to sit back and let things flow. There will always be a hiccup or situation to overcome for all our new locations. A great Integration specialist plans for all scenarios, is default aggressive in their planning, and does what it takes to attack any issues that may arise. We will plan for the worst and execute on our plans to ensure a positive experience. Integrity is everything. An integration specialist at WSH is trusted with confidential information and must be trustworthy and reliable. We need to be able to do the right thing, always and balance what is best for the company, our management, and our employees.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Exempt role with standard hours from 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m.
- May require travel up to 40%.
- Must be able to sit and use office equipment (computer, mouse, phone, etc.) for extended periods of time.
MINIMUM ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Demonstrated commitment to the West Shore Home brand and knowledge of the West Shore Home Core ideology.
- Attention to detail.
- Prior M&A OR West Shore Home acquisition experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills
